#OPEN MULTIPLE VLC INSTANCES HOW TO#
Which playlist does the file add to? Can the user not choose? Opviously he could drag the file on the window he would liek to add it to, but how to handle this in the context menu alone?įor this I dont know what would be the best way of handeling it. What if the user has multiple instances (multiple windows) open and chooses to add a file to the playlist.

Meanwhile the options I would rather see are simulair to that of most internet browsers "Open in current tab" "Open in new tab" or "Open in new window". These context menus do not clearly differ from eachother, and it remains unclear which is to be used in what situation. I know that in Windows 10 there are three right click options by default This lack of options also relates to the context menu in the file browser As of now I don't belive this is supported, I can either choose to open everything in a new instance, or open everything in the same instance.ĬONTEXT MENU (that right click menu in Windows Explorer) I would like to see a way of having multiple instances open, but not having every file open in a new instance.

With confusing I mean it is not always intuïtive. The use of multiple instances is confusing, and missing options.
